Chopper Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Well-Known Southern California Beach
A chopper flying near a well-attended California beach unexpectedly commenced twirling out of control, finally descending rapidly and smashing into a line of palm trees as beachgoers looked on.
Recordings shared online show the helicopter commencing to spiral above Huntington Beach then descending near the border of the beach, where it gets stuck among palm groves and a staircase close to the coastal road.
First Aid Information
Emergency responders said five persons were taken to hospital involving two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the accident on the weekend.
Three people on the road were hurt. Information on their injuries were not immediately available.
What led to the incident was not immediately released.
