It's a challenge for Australia to break new ground.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

We're talking about the squad that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus six more T20 titles, and once went nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, targeted by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a squad that has achieved everything.

The fact it required up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at the World Cup - and her century in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I am glad we have the confidence to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, should it happen, we believe we can succeed."

That comment will be the last Australia's opponents at this tournament need to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will win from any position has become more firm - this success succeeding success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.
